Buyers Eager to Attend Bali and Beyond Travel Fair
This year’s Bali and Beyond Travel Fair - organised by the Bali Chapter of the Indonesian Association of Travel Agents (ASITA-Bali) - has adopted the theme of “Journey to Sustainable Tourism" reflecting the desire of the Indonesian tourism industry to preserve and protect its unique cultures and natural environment.
The Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre (BNDCC), located within Bali’s world-renowned Nusa Dua complex on the southernmost tip of the island, remains the venue for BBTF 2019,
In keeping with past editions of the Bali and Beyond Travel Fair, the event is intended to truly promote “Bali and Beyond” with destinations, Indonesian provinces, and travel products from areas outside Bali joining the increasingly popular B2B tourism promotional event.
Like last year’s successful event, BBTF 2019 is on target to attract more than 200 sellers. Some 300 buyers from 52 countries are expected to attend.
Thirty UK buyers have registered, with strong interest also from France, Netherlands, Italy and Germany, as well as Eastern Europe countries Bulgaria, Estonia, Poland and Russia.
Qualified buyers have been lured with incentives that include subsidised air fares, complimentary accommodation, including daily breakfast, hosted receptions and selected meals, and special price offers on a range of pre- and post-fair familiarisation trips in Bali and destinations beyond the popular holiday island.
The 6th BBTF 2019 is supported by the Indonesia Ministry of Tourism.
A gala welcome dinner will open the event on the evening of Wednesday, June 26, 2019 with a festive farewell dinner hosted by the Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) slated for Friday, June 28, 2019.
Joining as sponsors of BBTF 2019 are the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre (BNDCC), ITDC, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), INDONOMO, and Starbuck Coffee.
