The famous Kuta Beach in Lombok is one of the newest tourism destinations in Lombok, namely Kuta Beach Park, with a beautiful promenade along the 1.4 km, complete beach facilities, a modern Rescue and Tourism Safeguard Office (Balawista), parking area that can accommodate more than 900 vehicles, as well as the Bazaar Mandalika shopping area. nurul bilad mosque consists of a 2-storey main building and a plaza. this mosque is capable of accommodating more than 4,000 worshipers. the mosque and plaza buildings were built on an 8 hectare land complex; therefore, this mosque has been named as the second largest mosque in west nusa tenggara. nurul bilad mosque at the mandalika has a distinctive architecture, with a square building with pyramid-shaped roof. the design was inspired by the bayan beleq ancient mosque in north lombok, the oldest mosque in lombok.
nurul bilad mosque was built by paying attention to the elements of local wisdom and identity of the people of lombok. the name "nurul bilad" itself means 'light of the nations'. the location is very close to the beach, only 400 meters from kuta mandalika beach.
