The Nusa Dua Tourism Area is one of the world’s best tourism destination developments to date. For more than 40 years, the realization of the Nusa Dua development consistently adheres to spatial zoning design, shoreline boundaries, landscaping concept, utilities design and security system as set out in the development master plan prepared in 1972.
Currently in Nusa Dua there are 19 starred hotels which offers 5,000 rooms, shopping center, museum, cultural venues, golf course, hospital and other tourism businesses. With two international MICE facilities, Nusa Dua has became host to various international scale events including UN Climate Change 2007, APEC 2013, Bali Democratic Forum, and Miss World 2013. Consistently managed with environmental friendly concept, Nusa Dua has earned various awards such as Kalpataru of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and certification of Tri Hita Karana of Tri Hita Karana Bali Foundation. At the global level, in 2004, Nusa Dua obtained the first Certification of Green Globe 21 Asia Pacific in the world for “Community Resort” category awarded by Green Globe Foundation, a global institution supported by the UN.

It is a concept of Balinese Barong and Kecak Dance arts which are packaged in a single performance at TAKSU ART STAGE on Peninsula Island The Nusa Dua, Bali.BALI LANGEN has the meaning of beauty (The Balinese atmosphere is pleasant and alluring to visit). This show begins with a Barong performance and then continues with a KECAK DANCE performance with stories taken from the Ramayana epic. It is told when Sri Rama, the legitimate crown prince of the Ayodya kingdom, was exiled from the palace by his father, King Dasarata. This happened because of slander by Dewi Kakayi (stepmother) Sri Rama. Along with his younger brother (Laksamana), and his wife (Dewi Sinta), Sri Rama went to the Dadanka forest. Their existence in the Dadanka forest is known by Rahwana (Prabu Dasamuka), a tyrannical king. Rahwana was captivated by the beauty of Dewi Sinta. He then looked for a way to kidnap Sinta. To achieve his aim, he was assisted by his prime minister, Marica. With all his supernatural powers, Marica transformed into a beautiful and agile golden deer. Their trick succeeded in separating Sinta from Rama and Laksamana. It was when they were separated, Rahwana kidnapped Dewi Sinta and took her to Alengka Pura. Rama and Laksamana tried to save Sinta from the hands of the cruel King. He is assisted by an army of monkeys led by Hanoman, a powerful white monkey. They managed to defeat the giant Rahwana and recapture Dewi Sinta safely.

Pesona Nusa Dua Fiesta is one of the biggest tourism promotion events in Bali held on Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua. Previously the event called “Nusa Dua Festival” then changed its name to Nusa Dua Fiesta during the 9th year in 2005. The 2016 Nusa Dua Fiesta by the Minister of Tourism was designated as one of the events supported by the Ministry of Tourism and the name was changed to ” Pesona Nusa Dua Fiesta”.The charm of Nusa Dua Fiesta has been held for 22 years. There are various national and international artist who have filled the program at Pesona Nusa Dua Fiesta including Isyana Sarasvati, Rendy Pandugo, Gus Teja, GAC, Nidji, Andra and Thebackbone and many more, besides that various kinds of communities and performances have been displayed in Pesona Nusa Dua Fiesta, from dance, body painting, ogoh ogoh parade, cultural parade, fashion parade and others.
