The Nusa Dua, Bali, August 8, 2026 – PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero)—also known as InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC)—and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BRI) have collaborated to organize the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market 2026, held on August 8–9, 2026, at Sidewalk Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua, Bali.
Centered on the theme of “Connecting Culture, Community, and Sustainable Living,” the event features over 50 tenants ranging from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and creative communities to providers of eco-friendly products—as part of an effort to offer a diverse tourism experience while strengthening the local economy through MSME empowerment, the creative economy, cultural preservation, and the implementation of sustainable tourism practices.
Over the two-day event, visitors can enjoy a wide array of premium MSME products, Indonesian culinary delights, eco-friendly goods, arts and cultural performances, live music, and wellness activities, as well as various interactive workshops open to the public free of charge. These activities transform the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market into more than just a weekend festival, but turned into a platform for MSMEs and creative communities to expand market access, build networks, and showcase their work to both domestic and international tourists.
ITDC Commercial & Marketing Director Febrina Mediana stated that the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market event is part of ITDC’s long-term strategy to develop the area through destination activation, creating added value for tourists while delivering broader benefits to the community.
"The BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market 2026 is not merely an event; it is part of ITDC’s strategy to strengthen The Nusa Dua’s position as a 'living destination' that delivers tangible benefits for tourism, the local economy, and the environment. Through this initiative, we aim to create a collaborative space that opens up greater opportunities for MSMEs, communities, and creative economy players to grow, while simultaneously showcasing Bali’s rich culture to both domestic and international tourists.
We believe that a world-class destination is defined not only by the quality of its infrastructure and services but also by its ability to create shared value for the community. Therefore, through our collaboration with BRI, the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market is envisioned as a platform that connects tourists, business owners, local communities, and the industry within a single ecosystem—fostering local economic growth and cultural preservation while promoting more inclusive and sustainable tourism practices," Ms. Mediana said
The commitment to sustainability in organizing this event is further demonstrated through the partnership between ITDC, BRI, and Waste4Change, which serves as the waste management partner. An integrated waste management system covering everything from initial sorting to post-event processing has been implemented as part of the commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This initiative aims not only to ensure responsible waste management during the event but also to educate the public on the importance of waste management, the circular economy, and the adoption of a more sustainable lifestyle.
Through collaboration with BRI, the Badung Regency Government, Waste4Change, local communities, and MSMEs, ITDC hopes the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market will serve as a key driver in reinforcing The Nusa Dua positioning as "Bali's Finest Family-Friendly Resort Haven," offering a high-quality tourism experience while delivering tangible benefits to the community. This initiative also reflects ITDC’s commitment to developing a destination that is competitive, inclusive, and sustainable, aligning with efforts to foster Indonesian tourism that is of higher quality and globally competitive.
