The Nusa Dua, Bali, 21 September 2026 – InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), through The Nusa Dua, distributed school supplies to 17 orphaned children in Pengulon Village, Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency, Bali. The assistance is part of ITDC’s Environmental and Social Responsibility (TJSL) program, aimed at supporting the educational needs of the local community.
The assistance consisted of 17 pairs of school shoes and 17 school supply packages, each comprising a school bag, writing materials, and a tumbler. The assistance was handed over by General Manager of The Nusa Dua ITDC, I Made Agus Dwiatmika, to Chairman of the Pengulon Care Group, I Putu Yasa, on Friday (18 September), at the Pengulon Village Head Office, Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency, Bali.
General Manager of The Nusa Dua ITDC, I Made Agus Dwiatmika, said the assistance reflects ITDC’s support for the educational needs of children in Pengulon Village, while also responding to a request for support submitted through the Pengulon Care Group (Kedungu).
“We hope this assistance can help meet the children’s school needs and ease the expenses required to support their educational activities. Simple forms of support, such as school supplies, are expected to encourage the children and help them carry out their learning activities more effectively,” said I Made Agus Dwiatmika.
He added that education is an important aspect of developing the quality of human resources. Therefore, ITDC’s TJSL programs are directed toward responding to the needs faced by communities and providing benefits that can be directly experienced by them.
“For ITDC, tourism destination development is not only about economic growth and infrastructure development, but also about how the company’s presence can benefit the community. We want our contributions to address actual needs and provide tangible benefits to communities surrounding our destinations or areas that are within the scope of our TJSL programs,” he added.
Chairman of the Pengulon Care Group, I Putu Yasa, expressed his appreciation for ITDC’s support for the orphaned children in Pengulon Village.
“We would like to thank ITDC for the assistance provided. This support means a great deal to the children, particularly in meeting their educational needs. We hope that this kind of care and synergy can continue to be maintained,” said Putu Yasa.
