Jakarta, September 29, 2026 – PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), or InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), has received The Eighth BUMN Brand Equity Awards 2026 in the Hospitality, Service & Retail category. This award reaffirms the growing trust of the public, partners, and stakeholders in ITDC's efforts to develop high-quality, sustainable, and value-added tourism destinations in Indonesia.
The award, organized by The Economics Media with the support of Axia Research, was presented during The Eighth Brand Equity Forum 2026 at the Oryza Multipurpose Building of Perum BULOG in Jakarta on Wednesday (September 16) and was received by ITDC Acting President Director, Ahmad Fajar.
The BUMN Brand Equity Awards are presented to corporate brands that achieve the highest scores within their respective industry groups. The assessment is based on four aspects: brand popularity, commercial reputation, employee reputation, and social reputation. The assessment process was conducted through an online survey involving more than 10,200 respondents across 10 major cities in Indonesia.
ITDC Acting President Director, Ahmad Fajar, stated that the award represents both recognition and a responsibility to continuously maintain the quality of destination development and management.
"For ITDC, a brand is not merely about being recognized, but about being trusted. That trust must be demonstrated through destination quality, certainty for partners to grow, and tangible benefits for the community. This award serves as a source of motivation for us to continue developing The Nusa Dua, The Mandalika, and The Golo Mori into increasingly competitive and sustainable destinations," said Ahmad Fajar.
As part of InJourney, ITDC develops and manages three of Indonesia's leading national destinations: The Nusa Dua as an integrated resort area, The Mandalika as a sportainment and lifestyle destination, and The Golo Mori as a sustainable marine-based MICE tourism destination.
With more than 52 years of experience, ITDC continues to strengthen its role as a Master Developer and Asset Manager. This role is carried out through the development of integrated infrastructure, facilities, and services, as well as strategic collaboration with industry players and communities surrounding its destinations.
For ITDC, this award reinforces the belief that brand competitiveness must grow alongside the quality of destination experiences, the sustainability of destination management, and the creation of broader economic value. Moving forward, ITDC will continue to promote destination development that meets the needs of tourists, attracts investors and business partners, and delivers increasingly tangible benefits to communities and Indonesia's economy.
