Jakarta, July 7, 2026 – PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), also known as InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), which manages The Nusa Dua, The Mandalika, and The Golo Mori tourism destinations, presented a series of “School Holiday Celebration” activities under the theme “A Meaningful and Comfortable Holiday” as part of the 2026 school holiday season and National Children’s Day celebrations. The activities were held on Friday, July 3, across each of the destinations managed by ITDC.
This program represents the implementation of ITDC’s campaign, designed to deliver a holistic family holiday experience by combining recreational activities, education, culture, and social awareness within a single destination.
ITDC Director of Commercial & Marketing, Febrina Mediana, stated that tourism destination development is no longer solely focused on providing infrastructure and tourist attractions, but also on creating experiences that deliver added value for visitors while generating benefits for local communities.
“Through the A Meaningful and Comfortable Holiday campaign, we aim to create destinations that cater to the needs of every family member within a single area. We believe that the best tourism experiences are those that not only bring happiness to visitors but also deliver tangible benefits to surrounding communities. Therefore, we integrate recreational activities, education, cultural preservation, and Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental programs as part of ITDC’s commitment to developing inclusive, sustainable, and globally competitive destinations,” she explained.
This program is part of the “A Meaningful and Comfortable Holiday” campaign initiated by ITDC to address the needs of modern travelers seeking destinations that offer comprehensive, safe, comfortable, and accessible experiences. Through collaboration among various facilities, attractions, tenants, and services within its tourism areas, ITDC presents a curated destination experience concept, enabling visitors to enjoy recreation, education, cultural activities, culinary experiences, and family entertainment without having to travel between different locations.
At The Nusa Dua, ITDC has prepared a range of programs under the theme “From a Holiday Destination to a World of Fun in One Place.” These initiatives offer holiday experiences that are not only enjoyable for children but also comfortable for every family member.
A variety of creative and interactive activities have been prepared at Peninsula Island, including the Family Time Capsule, Clay Painting Workshop, Animal Exhibition, Crochet Workshop, children’s art performances, and Family Picnic. These activities are designed to encourage creativity, strengthen family bonds, and create memorable holiday experiences. The entire series of activities further reinforces The Nusa Dua’s position as a world-class family tourism destination offering diverse experiences within a single area.
Meanwhile, at The Mandalika, the spirit of “A Meaningful and Comfortable Holiday” is brought to life through a variety of family-oriented holiday activities. These include Mandalika Art Performance, showcasing children’s creativity and local cultural arts; Swara Bazaar, offering acoustic music entertainment for visitors; Kids Activity – Student Go to Circuit, providing an educational experience at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit; and Mandalika Sehat, which encourages the community to participate in sports activities together during the holiday season. This series of activities further strengthens the positioning of ITDC-managed destinations as inclusive destinations offering comprehensive tourism experiences that cater to the needs of every family member.
To make this year’s school holiday season even more memorable, The Golo Mori is also presenting a series of child-friendly activities, including Coloring Activity and Cooking Class, which children can enjoy together with their families. These activities are designed to provide recreational opportunities that combine creativity, education, and family bonding in a comfortable and natural setting.
As part of the lead-up to National Children’s Day 2026, The Golo Mori is also preparing a range of engaging activities involving children and families. This initiative reflects ITDC’s commitment to developing destinations that offer not only natural beauty and world-class facilities but also inclusive and family-friendly experiences.
As part of the InJourney Group, ITDC will continue to strengthen experience-driven tourism development, with a focus on sustainability and community impact, through various programs that integrate tourism, culture, sports, education, and community empowerment.
